Centre Coordinators Welcome
A warm welcome to The Rushmere Academy. We are a non-registered school based near Northampton town centre offering part-time education to Key Stage 3 and 4 students across the county.
We are extremely proud of our provision and have been supporting young people for 20 years. We believe our learners deserve a chance no matter what circumstances they find themselves in. Our vision is to offer limitless opportunities for our learners to be successful and we are relentless in our support for them to do this.
Our team of staff demonstrate passion and commitment to learning, positive attitudes and an ambition for achievement. Our nurturing learning environment enables the young people we work with to manage their behaviour and emotions in a more positive manner to help their personal and academic growth. The staff at Rushmere strive to identify the barriers that our young people are experiencing and work to give them a means to deal with situations in a better way.
We offer interventions for young people who are struggling to cope in mainstream school and whose behaviour puts them at risk of exclusion, as well as opportunities for those who have been permanently excluded. We bring a world of possibility to our young people with an enriched personal programme of learning that meets their academic, social and emotional needs.
We provide support to our mainstream partners and local authorities and have developed a strong and supportive ethos with all professionals we work with.
We are always trying to improve and welcome visits from anyone who has an interest in our provision and providing for vulnerable young people. If you would like to visit, then please get in touch and we will be happy to welcome you to Rushmere.
Many thanks
